Job Summary:
We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be an accounting graduate with expertise in preparing financial statements, managing payroll processes, and maintaining confidentiality in all financial dealings.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Payroll Processing: Support payroll administration, including calculating hours worked, processing employee payroll, and ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Data Entry: Enter financial data into accounting software and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliations.
Record Keeping: Maintain organized and secure filing systems for financial documents, ensuring confidentiality and easy retrieval.
Financial Analysis: Help analyze financial data to support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
Audit Support: Prepare documentation for internal and external audits, providing necessary information as requested.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies regarding financial reporting, payroll, and data security.
Collaborative Support: Work closely with team members on various accounting projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and payroll processes.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
