Position Overview:
The Admin & Accounting Assistant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and supporting the overall financial management of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Process invoices, payments, and ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
• Conduct regular audits and prepare reports on financial activities.
• Assist with external audits and tax filings as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.
• Support the preparation of financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, etc.) and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
• Attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
• Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
