The primary responsibility of this role is the daily coordination of all aspects of the EBN Enrichment programme.
Additional responsibilities include planning in line with the EYFS for and implementing enrichment activities for children and to ensure their safety and facilitate their physical, emotional and educational development.
Provide enrichment activities from 7:30 - 3pm each day.
Build rapport with children and families and provide feedback to staff and parents about children\'s experiences.
Collaborate with EBN team to create and implement a cohesive learning experience for participants.
Document lesson plans, activities, and feedback.
Provide monthly program reports and impact measures.
Ensure programme materials are inventoried and properly maintained.
Works to establish a supportive relationship with children and parents concerned and interact with them according to their individual needs.
Encourage acceptance and inclusion of all children and use appropriate skills to adapt activities necessary to meet the needs of all students.
To monitor, assess and record children\'s individual needs in collaboration with teachers.
To develop action plans where necessary to support children\'s learning.
To be responsible for the care, welfare, health and safety and security of all children within the Nursery.
To act as a positive role model and encourage positive behaviour in line within the Nurseries Policies and Procedures.
To respect all families\' diversity and cultures.
To undertake good and effective communications with all staff, parents, guardians and carers.
Supervise drop off/pick up and ensure teachers/parents are adhering to pick up policies.
Provide content for the Nursery website, Facebook page, Instagram and other media (as required) to promote extra-curricular activities.
Liaise with the Headmistress to ensure that all children and their parents are informed of the principles, objectives and benefits of the enrichment programme
To attend all meetings deemed relevant by the management and contribute positively.
To actively participate in training programmes, attending professional development activities as appropriate and actively contribute to their annual appraisal.
Be aware of and committed to the EBN culture within ethos of EBN.
Ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times both within the Nursery and outside of Nursery perimeters.
Follow Nursery procedures as outlined in the staff handbook.
Ensure their own health and safety and adhere to the Nursery policies and procedures.
About the requirements
University degree in Early Childhood / Education or Degree in Performing Arts or Cache 3
Specialist qualification in dance or physical education
At least 2 years experience in teaching Early Years
