The Impact You\xe2\x80\x99ll Make in this Role
As a Middle East & Africa Activation Marketer for our Health Information Systems Division, you will have the responsibility to drive the demand generation through local activation and engagement of our customers. In this region, you\'ll collaborate closely with an experienced marketer, working under a dotted line structure, jointly tasked with defining and executing the marketing plan. Your active involvement will be instrumental in launching the Solventum brand in our region, following its spin-off on April 1st, 2024.
As an Activation Marketer -Health Information Systems Division you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Being accountable for the activation activities for the marketing department:
- Responsible for Marketing planning, Program definition and calendar development
- Manage local marketing calendar of execution
- Build competitive intelligence
- Align the campaigns outcomes/input/results and measure return on investment
- Fully responsible for demand generation at the local layer
- Determining the market size and potential, for current products or new products
- Knowing the customer and market dynamics, key market trends. Build a good understanding of the local product portfolio.
- Selecting and organizing local marketing requirements: Trade shows, Customer events, Key opinion leaders
- Working with the sales organization and the area portfolio leaders in order to reach the divisional goals
- Working with implementation and support team to support them with marketing initiatives
- Working on Brand launch activities
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

- Bachelor or Master Degree in Marketing or at least 5years of experience in Marketing
- Professional English. Arabic is highly preferred.
- Willingness to collaborate with sales reps to promote products, promotions etc
- Experience in facing customers, organizing events, etc
- Eager to work in a multi-cultural team: collaborate with marketing colleagues over EMEA/USA and with a strong local team of sales and professional services
- Experience in Market studies and launches of new products
- Experience in the Healthcare (IT) market is a plus.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Sales experience is a plus.
- Business development experience is a plus.
- Experience in Project management, Prioritization
Work location: Located in UAE.
- Hybrid Eligible
Travel: May include up to 25% of time for customer visits or local events in other countries of the Middle East and Africa Region.
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
