In this role, you will oversee the accounts receivable function, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations while leading a team of professionals.
Manage and supervise the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance
Oversee the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables
Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports for senior management
Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and accounting standards
Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to team members
Optimize accounts receivable processes and procedures for increased efficiency
Manage relationships with key clients and handle escalated issues
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role
Proficiency in Arabic (speaking, reading, and writing) and fluency in English
Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly in accounts receivable
Expertise in financial software and ERP systems
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and accounting standards
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated experience in process improvement and implementing best practices
