Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing the company's receivables, ensuring that clients are billed correctly, and payments are collected on time. This role involves maintaining accurate records, handling billing issues, and working closely with customers and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and send out invoices to customers promptly.
• Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments.
• Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
• Conduct account research and analysis to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
• Prepare and distribute accounts receivable statements and reports.
• Reconcile accounts receivable transactions.
• Process and review account adjustments.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service departments to resolve customer issues and inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Navision) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
