In this role, you will be assisting the Accounts Receivable Lead with the accounts receivable function for the Wego group of companies.Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day-to-day accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment collections, and cash application.
Conduct financial analysis to monitor customer payment trends, identify delinquent accounts, and provide insights into cash flow management.
Assist in the analysis of the debtors aging
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve payment disputes, address customer inquiries, and manage credit limits.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring timely payment and resolving outstanding issues.
Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including revenue recognition and bad debt provisions.
Assist with audit and other financial reporting requirements as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting.
Proven track record of successfully driving process improvements and implementing automation initiatives in accounts receivable operations.
Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights.
Proficient in using accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Netsuite, Oracle).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Detail-oriented with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
