Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to manage our vendor payments and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts payable processes and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Vendor Invoice Management: ?

Review and ensure UAE VAT compliance of vendor invoices submitted ? Book the vendor invoices accurately in the accounting system

2. Payments Processing: ? Process the bank payments in time and post vendor payments in system, settling invoices in a timely manner ? Prepare and post cheques for vendor payments

3. Reporting: ? Conduct vendor reconciliations to resolve discrepancies ? Periodic review of Vendor Ageing Reports ? Maintain accurate records of security cheques issued and received

4. Utilities & Medical Insurance: ? Review and ensure timely payment of utilities, including telephone, DEWA, and Empower ? Post medical insurance invoices and follow up for credit notes as necessary

5. Accounting Entries: ? Post journal entries and manage prepayments and accruals ? Reconcile credit card payments and maintain accurate accounting records by posting transactions in time

6. VAT Compliance: ? Prepare VAT return files (input register) and post necessary entries 7. Bank Reconciliations: ? Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records

8. Additional Responsibilities: ? Assist with other accounting tasks and reports as required by management Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field or ACCA. - Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role. - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. - Strong understanding of VAT regulations and compliance. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED5,000.00 per month
