Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and attentive Accounts Payable Specialist to enhance our finance team's capabilities, with a particular focus on managing expenses and vendor payments efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

- Invoice Processing: Accurately review, verify, and process invoices and requisitions for goods and services.

- Payment Management: Prepare and execute payment s, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and promptly.

- Vendor Relations: Maintain Vendor registration records per Company Policy including Trade Licenses, VAT and ICV certificates. Negotiate favorable credit terms and billing periods. Build and maintain robust relationships with vendors, addressing any invoice or payment issues swiftly to maintain service continuity.

- Expense Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and up-to-dateness of financial records.

- Record Keeping: Maintain precise and organized financial records in QuickBooks and relevant excel logs, including all accounts payable documentation.

- Reporting: Assist in the monthly financial closing process and support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Quarterly VAT filing contributions will include ensuring all Vendor tax invoices are received and properly recorded.

- Compliance: Uphold strict adherence to company financial policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain strict confidentiality and non-disclosure of all information.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Must be UAE Attested.

- Proven experience in an accounts payable role, ideally with proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise.

- Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use advanced functions for financial analysis and reporting.

- Excellent organizational skills and the capability to multitask effectively.

- Strong communication skills to manage internal and external financial communications effectively.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team in a dynamic environment.

- Familiarity with the financial regulations and reporting standards in the UAE.

Pay: AED4,700.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Accounts Payable: 3 years (Required)
• UAE VAT: 1 year (Required)
• Corporate Tax (outside UAE): 1 year (Preferred)
• QuickBooks Desktop: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• UAE Attested Diploma or Degree in related field (Required)
• Professional Certificates for Coursework completed (Preferred)
