Our client is an independent creative agency that designs immersive venues, gathers original content, develops compelling experience around live audiences, and organize interconnected campaigns.We are looking for a Finance - Accounts Payable Coordinator on a temporary 5-month contract, who will manage all production accounts payable. Assist the Project Accountant in maintaining clear accounts payable files, deadlines and tracking. The ideal candidate will be well versed in accounts payable accounting practices and dealing with suppliers.Responsibilities:
Oversee the receipt and logging of all supplier invoices to ensure accurate and timely processing.
Assist in handling communications with suppliers, addressing any payment-related queries and discrepancies
Liaise with the People corporate Finance team to manage accounts payable for suppliers and freelancers.
Collaborate with department heads to respond to supplier inquiries and ensure compliance with requirements.
Support the tracking of accounts payable, ensuring all outstanding payments are monitored and recorded.
Maintain both paper and electronic accounting files, ensuring they are organized, accessible, and easily understandable.
Assist in creating purchase orders for freelancers and suppliers as needed.
Provide general support to the Project Accountant and assist with other Finance team tasks as required.
Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance, ideally within a project-based or production environment.
A bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with Procim is an advantage but not mandatory (training will be provided).
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy in processing and tracking accounts payable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively liaising with suppliers, corporate finance teams, and internal department heads.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain clear and organized files, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a high level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
Proven ability to manage your own time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
