Job Description

:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing all payments and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and payments in an accurate and timely manner.
• Verify and reconcile vendor statements to ensure proper documentation and payment accuracy.
• Maintain up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.
• Monitor payment schedules and manage relationships with vendors to address discrepancies or inquiries.
• Prepare and process bank transfers, checks, and other payment methods.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant UAE laws.
• Assist in month-end closing and reporting for accounts payable.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment or invoice-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
