Job Description

We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Officer - Payroll to join our finance team. This crucial role focuses on managing and executing all aspects of the payroll process with precision and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process accurate payrolls on a timely basis, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Maintain and update payroll records and data, including salaries, bonuses, and deductions.
• Ensure proper calculation of taxes and deductions, in accordance with regulations.
• Respond to enquiries from employees regarding payroll matters, providing clear and concise information.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless salary processing.
• Prepare periodic payroll reports for management review and decision-making.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies as they arise.
• Participate in audits and implement recommendations to improve payroll processes.
• Stay updated with governmental regulations and changes in payroll practices.
• Other duties as assigned by the finance manager.

### Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in payroll processing or a similar accounting role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate data management.
• Proficient in payroll software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with different departments and personnel.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to payroll management.
