JPC - 4346 - Accounts Officer Location: FujairahPosition Type: Contractual Language Proficiency: BilingualResponsibilities: Reporting to Accounting Manager/OSM Dotted Line Manager Business Unit Finance Department DepartmentJob Purpose This position is responsible to perform all finance related activities such as invoicing, receipting, bank reconciliation, handling petty cash, supporting Principal (Budgeting & MIS),HQ finance for any finance related matters and other tasks assigned by HQ finance Section Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts payable. Support the Principal in building and modifying the budget. Collaborate with HQ finance to close financial periods accurately and on time. Review monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports with the Principal. Utilize ERP systems effectively for financial transactions and reporting. Achieve KPIs set to maintain financial excellence. Functional Responsibilities: Review, verify, and process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims. Ensure timely payments to vendors, service providers, and contractors. Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts to ensure accuracy. Reconcile monthly statements from vendors to avoid discrepancies. Assist with bank reconciliations related to accounts payable. Manage petty cash and ensure all transactions comply with company policies and Delegation of Authority (DOA).Accounts Receivable General Ledger (GL) accounts before month-end closing.Qualifications, Experience & Skills Minimum Qualifications Degree in Accounting Minimum Experience 5+ Years' experience in finance function or Professional qualification with 2+ Years' Experience in similar role.
