Job Description

Job Summary:

The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records,

and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role focuses on managing accounts payable and receivable,

cost control, taxation, and financial reporting, while working closely with the Finance Manager to support financial planning and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Operations & Reporting:

Oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.

Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.

Assist in cash flow monitoring and budgeting in coordination with the Finance Manager.

Ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting standards.

2. Client & Vendor Management:

Manage contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring timely invoicing and payment collection.

Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding payment schedules and account reconciliations.

Address and resolve client billing issues and disputes.

3. Cost Control & Budgeting:

Monitor and analyze catering costs and recommend cost-saving strategies.

Track expenses related to food, beverages, and non-food items to maintain profit margins.

Support the Finance Manager in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.

4. Taxation & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with VAT, tax regulations, and financial laws.

Maintain accurate tax records and support the Finance Manager in liaising with tax authorities.

Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.

5. Payroll & HR Support:

Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely salary payments.

Manage employee benefits, deductions, and other payroll-related financial matters.

6. Reporting & Analysis:

Generate financial reports for management review.

Analyze financial trends and suggest improvements to profitability.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance

Experience in accounts management, preferably in catering or hospitality.

Strong knowledge of accounting software (preferred: Microsoft Dynamics NAV).

Experience in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
