Universal Philippine School is the first and only Philippine school in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, UAE. We are in URGENT need of an •Accounts/Finance Officer • to join our growing family •. •

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date school financial records including expenses, revenue, assets, and liabilities.
• Manage Accounts Payable by processing invoices, paying suppliers, and reconciling accounts.
• Managing Accounts Receivable by invoicing and collecting payments from students, parents, and other stakeholders.
• Manage and oversee the payroll process for staff - ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, deductions, benefits, and compliance with tax regulations.
• Prepare and monitor the school's annual budget, ensure that spending follows allocated funds, and provide financial forecasts and recommendations.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and reports.
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to make sure financial goals are met.
• Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and procedures. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to school management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Proficiency in using student management systems, MS Office applications, and general office equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Friendly and professional demeanor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month
