Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated individual to join our team as an Accountant & Finance Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices within the gold and diamond industry.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Perform data entry and bookkeeping tasks
- Conduct reconciliations of accounts
- Assist in the processing of accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and maintain financial documents and records
- Support financial audits and compliance activities
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Previous experience in the gold and diamond industry is a plus
- Preparing tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors during tax audits.
- Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations that may affect the organization.
