I am looking for an accountant with a minimum of 3 years of experience for a client of ours. This is for a group of companies (5 companies) wherein your responsibilities will be as follows:
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Transactions:
- Accurately record day-to-day financial transactions into the system.
- Manage and process invoices, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently.
2. General Ledger Management:
- Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect the latest financial information.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of entries in the general ledger.
3. Reconciliations:
- Conduct regular reconciliations of financial accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Verify the accuracy of bank statements, accounts payable, and receivable balances.
4. Software Proficiency:
- Utilize Zoho Books and QuickBooks for various accounting tasks, ensuring proficiency in navigating and leveraging the capabilities of both systems.
5. Financial Reporting:
- Generate and prepare financial reports as required by management.
- Provide insights and analysis based on financial data.
Qualifications:
1. Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Professional Experience:
- Proven experience in accounting roles, with a focus on day-to-day financial operations.
- Prior experience working with Zoho Books and QuickBooks is essential.
3. Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical skills to ensure accurate and detailed financial records.
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
4. Organizational Skills:
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
5. Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and external stakeholders.
6. Integrity and Confidentiality:
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity and maintain confidentiality regarding financial information.
7. Adaptability:
- Ability to adapt to evolving tasks and responsibilities within a dynamic work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
