Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant with strong data entry skills to join our car servicing company. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the accounting team in various financial tasks, including data entry, bookkeeping, and assisting with financial analysis. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in the field of accounting.

Responsibilities:

Perform accurate and timely data entry of financial transactions into the accounting system.

Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger accounts, invoices, receipts, and other relevant documentation.

Reconcile and balance accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer collections.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports under the guidance of senior accountants.

Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and conducting reconciliations.

Help analyze financial data and contribute to financial forecasting and budgeting activities.

Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and regulations.

Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations as required.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to accounting and data entry.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Prior experience in data entry or bookkeeping is desirable but not mandatory.

Fresh graduates or candidates with relevant internships will be considered.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.

Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.

Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

A proactive and positive attitude towards learning and professional growth.

Familiarity with the automotive industry or car servicing operations is a plus.
