Job Summary:
The Account Executive will be responsible for managing a wide range of financial activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting functions. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized professional capable of handling complex financial tasks, driver transactions, and vendor payments.

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Prepare and analyze accurate and timely financial statements and reports for management review.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of bank statements to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Review accounts daily, weekly, and monthly to monitor financial status and identify discrepancies.
• Monitor and manage cash flow regularly, implementing strategies to reduce unnecessary costs.
• Maintain and update fixed asset registers, including depreciation schedules.
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Perform reconciliations of various accounts such as creditors and debtors.
• Manage intercompany transactions and prepare related reports.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare consolidated financial reports branch-wise and by vertical.
• Facilitate online bank payments and prepare supplier cheques accurately and on time.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation and filing of VAT returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the transportation or hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in Odoo and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
