Job Description

Albustan Medical Centre is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our finance team.The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting with payroll. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The Accounts Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.



Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise the accounting department's daily routines to ensure smooth, effective, and efficient daily work practices.
• Supervising and assisting with account reconciliations, account analysis, and closing procedures at month end.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be a Finance Graduate.
• Minimum 3 years of similar experience
• Ability to work under pressure

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.

Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and coded.

Follow up on outstanding payments and manage customer and supplier accounts.

Bank Reconciliation:

• Reconcile bank statements with internal financial records.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Financial Data Entry:

• Input financial data into accounting systems and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure that all financial documents are properly filed and easily accessible.

Assistance in Financial Reporting:

• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budget tracking and variance analysis.

Payroll Support:

• Assist with payroll processing by collating necessary employee information and documentation.
• Ensure payroll transactions are recorded accurately.

Tax and Compliance Support:

• Assist in preparing and submitting tax filings, such as VAT, GST, or other regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.

General Administrative Support:

• Respond to queries from internal departments and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
• Support the finance team with administrative tasks and special projects as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Background:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
