Accounts Assistant

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks from Group Finance Manager, ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, and maintaining financial records. The role includes preparing financial reports, handling general ledger entries, supporting month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations

Responsibilities



Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of accounting records. Assist in the preparation of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections. Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, vendor accounts, and other financial data. Support the month-end and year-end closing process by preparing journal entries and ensuring all financial transactions are recorded. Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting. Monitor and track company expenses, ensuring proper documentation and accuracy in expense reports. Assist with the administrative tasks in the office.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Experience in the same field minimum 2 years Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Pay: Up to AED3,000.00 per month
