Urgently required Accounts Assistant for Construction Company in Sharjah with a solid background in accounting, bookkeeping, and IT knowledge to support our finance and operations teams. The ideal candidate should have experience in the construction industry, with proficiency in ERP systems, and at least one year of UAE experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoice and Payment Posting: Review and post invoices to record material purchases and perform bookkeeping. Post payments to suppliers and subcontractors' accounts.
Bank Payment Voucher Management: Scan bank payment vouchers and organize them into the respective folders for easy access and records management.
Document Filing: Ensure all financial documents, records, and vouchers are filed in an orderly and accessible manner.
Cheque Distribution: Responsible for the timely distribution of cheques to suppliers and subcontractors.
Staff and Labor Account Settlement: Prepare account settlements for staff and labor, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
Payroll Assistance: Support payroll processing by assisting with attendance checks and ensuring accurate calculations.
IT Coordination: Act as a liaison with the IT team to resolve any technical issues that may impact accounting or other departmental functions.
