Fables Interiors is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with various accounting tasks, including VAT compliance, invoicing, and general financial record-keeping. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy of our financial data and supporting the smooth operation of our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• VAT Compliance:
• Assist in the preparation and filing of VAT returns.
• Ensure timely submission of VAT payments and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of VAT transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Financial Record Keeping:
• Support in maintaining the general ledger, including posting journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts on a monthly basis.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and statements as required.
• Invoicing and Accounts Payable:
• Generate and send invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Process supplier invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Administrative Support:
• Organize and maintain financial documents and records for easy retrieval.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the accounting manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Relevant experience in accounting or finance, particularly with VAT processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
