Overview:
The Accounting Manager - Group Financial Audit will take the lead in managing the financial audit process for the Group, focusing on ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of audit requirements. Reporting directly to the Finance Controller for Financial Reporting & Controls, this 6-month contract role demands a professional with deep expertise in financial audits, IFRS, and regulatory standards. This role is pivotal in coordinating with external auditors and collaborating with internal stakeholders across departments to meet audit goals and financial reporting standards.
:
• Audit Management: Lead the full scope of the Group's financial audit, managing all related preparation and execution activities.
• External Auditor Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, ensuring prompt responses and document submissions.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare Group and Statutory financial statements, adhering strictly to IFRS and internal policies.
• Month-End and Year-End Close Support: Contribute to month-end close activities and facilitate a smooth financial year-end close.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the focal audit contact for Finance, Legal, Projects, and other relevant departments, aligning audit objectives across the organization.
• Compliance Monitoring: Oversee compliance with accounting standards and internal policies, addressing any recommendations from internal audits.
Qualifications and Key Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field and Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA .
• 8-10 years of accounting and reporting experience preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of IFRS and relevant financial regulations.
• Proven track record in audit management, ideally within a multinational corporation or audit firm.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in financial reporting and compliance.
• Excellent project management and communication skills, with a talent for cross-functional teamwork.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (preferably Oracle) and Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Salary and Benefits:
