Our client manages duty free retail operations, specializing in fragrance, cosmetics, sunglasses, and fashion jewelry. Oversee accounting functions to ensure timely and accurate financial transaction recording Maintain general ledger integrity, ensuring compliance with IFRS and UAE tax laws Manage daily, monthly, and yearly closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations Lead and support the accounting team, promoting continuous improvement Review and approve reconciliations, ensuring proper documentation and tax filings Conduct audits and implement internal controls to protect financial data Collaborate with departments to optimize systems and align operations Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and support external audits while reporting key metrics to senior management Recognized professional accountancy qualification Minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial management role Proven commercial experience Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking Excellent leadership and team management abilities High level of accountability and personal responsibility Good understanding of local and international accounting rules Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Self-directed, organized, and able to prioritize effectively Strong IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (Navision is an advantage)#J-18808-Ljbffr
