Duties & Responsibilities 1.Secure the journal entries posted by Accountant into ERP accurately and compliant with the company\'s accounting policy. 2.Review the payment instructions in a timely manner (payment request is made by Accountant and remittance is done by Finance & Administration General Manager). 3.Prepare the company\'s monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting in a timely manner and report to Senior Accounting Manager for the group accounting. 4.Monitor and analyze AR/AP and inventory status of the company including aging and report to Finance & Administration General Manager on monthly basis. 5.Coordinate and complete the annual external audit and ICV Certification, if needed, of the company. 6.Establish and enforce accounting methods, policies, and principles of the company. 7.Collaborate with the ERP Specialist for ERP maintenance, developments, and inventory system integrations to improve the accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes of the company. 8.Coordinate the tax consultant for various concerns to ensure compliance with regulations including, but not limited to, corporate tax law, VAT, ESR etc. of the company. 9.Update monthly balance sheet schedules and review aged balances of the company. Coordinate with various departments to resolve discrepancies, using this data as a basis for the biannual book review process. 10.Answer the questionnaire/requests/questions as required. 11.Review various transfers within inventory system including inventory movements, receipts, and posting relevant entries to maintain accurate inventory records of the company. 12.Book the cost of fabricated inventory of the company and engage with various departments to streamline and simplify the associated processes. 13.Review WPS of the company prepared by HR for the approval by Finance & Administration General Manager. 14.Generate and supply required data or reports to other departments of the company as needed, such as the Purchase Order Export or the Merchandise Balance Report. Regularly review monthly financial data of the company to identify and rectify errors or discrepancies. 15.Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to ensure the company-wise compliance.Requirements 1.Minimum 5 years\' experience in the field of accounting in a private company or accounting firm. Experience in consolidated accounting is preferable. Experience in a multinational company and/or JAFZA company is preferable. 2.Experience with closing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting, and external audit under IFRS. Knowledge of VAT and Corporate Tax.
