Our client is a consulting and investment firm based in Dubai and they provide outsourcing services to companies in the Middle East, Africa, and SEA for business support services such as accounting, HR, legal, and administration services. Their services encompass both consulting and investment, aiding companies from initial seed rounds through to significant turnarounds.


They are committed to accelerating cultural and technological advancements and aims to support companies in various stages of growth, including making recommendations to clients' management on business support services to improve workflow, reduce costs, and assist in building future business plans.


With the expansion of business in Middle East, they are looking a self-motivated and passionate Accounting Manager in Dubai. This is a full time remote role and would require working with overseas cross-functional team.


Role Description


The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, handling journal entries, overseeing finance activities, and managing fixed assets.


Job Responsibilities


• Perform comprehensive accounting services for client companies (including bookkeeping, payments, payroll, etc.)
• Prepare, review, and draft basic contracts, ensuring thorough checks before engaging attorneys or legal staff.
• Develop and execute a list of tasks required for the operation of the corporation in each country, mainly for clients in the Middle East, and carry out these tasks.
• Select, negotiate, and manage relationships with external suppliers (i.e. accounting firms, tax advisory firms, secretarial firms, lawyers, etc.)
• Plan and implement operational efficiencies and cost reductions.
• Conduct independent research and collaborate with internal and external resources to solve complex issues outside of your immediate expertise.
• Facilitate the establishment of new offices as requested by clients, managing the process from start to finish.

Job Requirements


• Resident in Dubai
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working in accounting in Dubai
• At least 5 years total experience in accounting and accounting work
• Experience working in a start-up/lean environment is essential
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
