The Accountant / Administrative Assistant at Zingo Smart Stay is responsible for supporting the accounting department by handling both accounting duties and general administrative tasks. This role involves maintaining financial records, processing transactions, managing office needs, and ensuring organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate financial records by managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger postings.
Transaction Processing: Process payments and invoices accurately and within expected time periods.
Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Administrative Support: Manage office supplies, prepare correspondence, schedule meetings, and support staff with clerical tasks.
Audit Support: Assist with preparing for audits by ensuring all financial documentation is accurate and readily available.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal controls.
Customer Interaction: Handle client inquiries and communications related to billing and payments.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in an accounting role and administrative management.
