This role will report directly to the Finance Manager/Head of Accounting and is integral to the financial operations of Wizz Financial.Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Finance Manager with various accounting and finance tasks.
  • Evaluate the financial performance and objectives of the business.
  • Provide financial and strategic insights to support the growth plans of the organization.
  • Manage the implementation of systems, process improvements, and automation of processes.
  • Work with state regulators to ensure compliance and support the registration process in new states as per the companys strategic plan.
  • Prepare reliable current and forecasted financial reports.
  • Provide financial planning, modeling, and analysis.
  • Manage cash flows and perform effective cash and working capital management.
  • Support company audits and ensure legal compliance in all financial functions.
  • Manage relationships with banks and vendors.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with proven experience as an accountant.
  • Experience in a large cross-border funds movement environment.
  • Successful track record in creating and setting up multi-currency financials.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
  • Strong liquidity and working capital management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong numerical skills.
  • Willingness to take responsibility, show initiative, and work effectively within a dynamic team.
  • Relevant BA degree and/or CPA certification is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a plus.
