We are looking to hire an Accountant with an analytical mind and fantastic organizational skills. You are expected to be detail oriented, have strong problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines. To ensure success, you should be a critical thinker, able to work independently, proficient in excel and accurate with a solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices. GCC experience of VAT and related TAX filing is preferred.
Responsibilities
• Performs general accounting functions, accounting records, and other related duties in the daily administration of the accounting department
• Performs accounts payable and account receivable functions
• Performs cost accounting functions
• Maintains general ledger to include preparation of journal entries, coding of invoices, accounts analysis and reconciliation, closing books monthly
• Update and prepare report for overall Sales and expenses monthly
• Manage Inventory, reconcile and carry out annual stock counts.
• Performs other duties of the same or lesser degree as required by the position or as assigned by manager

• Position contributes to accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Ability to work in detail and good organizational skills.
• Ensuring timely and accurate records in accordance with company accounting policies and generally accepted accounting principles.

• Ability to read, analyze & interpret information.
• Ability to handle business correspondences.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines with accurate & detailed results.
• Critical thinker with high proficiency in math.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent report writing, communication, and IT skills.
• Advanced competency in Microsoft Office and Accounting software packages.

Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in the finance-related field required
• 2 to 3 years of accounting experience including knowledge of computerized accounting system and PC spreadsheets
• GCC experience a plus
