To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in financial operations, namely bookkeeping, and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Documenting financial transactions by entering account information to the accounting software system as well as physical document filing;
- Performing monthly bank reconciliations and Balance Sheet reconciliations including intercompany reconciliations;
- Maintain company Fixed Assets register and manage monthly depreciations;
- Manage inter-department cost allocations and reporting;
- Manage AR reconciliations and deferred revenue reconciliations;
- Managing client credit collection;
- Handling staff reimbursements by making sure it is recorded properly and issuing payment;
- Issuing client invoices, intercompany invoices and purchase orders;
- Managing petty cash and company credit cards;
- Assisting with annual audits and VAT returns;
- Maintaining accounting controls by following policies and procedures complying with financial legal requirements;
- Providing financial information to management.
