Black & Grey HR is seeking an experienced Accountant for a manufacturing company based in Umm Al Quwain. As an integral member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update the Post-Dated Cheques (PDCs) sheet using Excel, including the recording of all newly issued cheques or planned online transfers.
- Compare the PDCs sheet with the payment dashboard to identify and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Handle the deposit of cheques and cash received from both external clients and internal sources on a daily basis.
- Maintain an accurate and organized filing system for all petty cash reimbursement sheets and their corresponding supporting documents.
- Collaborate closely with the Finance Manager to ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and documentation as required.
- Utilize ERP software to manage and record financial transactions accurately.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure proper financial documentation and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience as an Accountant.
- Proficiency in using ERP software for financial management and record-keeping.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel for spreadsheet management.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for identifying discrepancies and errors.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
