Job Description

Saif Zone Sharjah company urgently looking for an Accountant to handle accounts department of our business accounting activities. This includes raising, sending and paying invoices, reconciling company accounts and calling customers to chase late payments. You will be expected to help document and maintain the business' finance procedures, updating and implementing them wherever necessary.

Maintaining the company purchase and sales ledgers Credit control & payment follow ups from customers Reconciling Supplier ledgers & processing payments Monthly Bank reconciliations Prepare VAT Returns & Filing Basic Accounts administration Updating and maintaining procedural documentation New ideas to improve the working & strengthen the controls Execution of any tasks given by the Accounts Manager/Managements

Duties & Responsibilities:

Your main responsibility is to support the head of accounts with business accounting activities. This includes raising, sending and paying invoices, reconciling company accounts and calling customers to chase late payments. You will be required to assist with basic accounts tasks and should be on hand to answer any queries raised by staff or external clients or providers. You will be expected to help document and maintain the business' finance procedures, updating and implementing them as per the company requirements.

You should have a degree in one of the following subjects:

Business Studies Finance Accounting Mathematics Economics
Requiring a minimum of 36 months previous experience as part of an accounts or credit control team. Must have experience using Microsoft software packages (Word, Excel etc.) and using accounting software ie. Sage.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
