Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Handle and process all accounting functions related to construction, with a primary focus on

Accounts Payable (AP)

. Prepare and maintain

monthly reports for Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP)

. Process

supplier and subcontractor invoices daily

, ensuring timely approvals and payments. Assemble and verify subcontractor documents, including

payment certificates, vendor invoices, guarantees, insurance certifications, and reconciliations

. Prepare

month-end revenue and cost accruals

, applying

Percentage of Completion (POC) Accounting

. Set up

new customer accounts

, run credit reports, and assess payment terms. Manage

weekly Accounts Payable check runs

, ensuring invoices are processed on time. Oversee

Asset Management processes and reporting

. Perform

bank deposits and cash application

. Post

journal entries

and reconcile

general ledger accounts

as required. Conduct

bank reconciliations

and assist with

financial statement reviews

. Support the

Controller in month-end closing procedures

. Perform

ad hoc financial analysis and reporting

as assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

(required).

Minimum 5 years of experience

in

contracting/construction accounting

. Strong knowledge of

International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

. Proficiency in

construction cost accounting principles

.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office

(Word, Excel, Outlook).

Experience with ePROMIS ERP

(preferred). Strong

analytical and problem-solving skills

. Ability to

manage multiple projects and deadlines

with attention to detail. Effective

team player with strong interpersonal skills

.

Fluent in Arabic

with a

good command of English

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
