Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Saif Zone, Sharjah, UAE, for an Accountant position at Aura Parfum FZE. The Accountant role is responsible for managing and overseeing day-to-day financial operations. The role involves preparing financial reports, analyzing financial trends, and ensuring compliance with local finance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Gather and monitor financial data, including sales revenues and liabilities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements (e.g., balance sheets and income statements).
• Forecast costs and revenues to support business decision-making.
• Manage tax payments and ensure compliance with UAE VAT and taxation regulations.
• Organize and oversee internal audits.
• Prepare company-wide and departmental budgets.
• Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
• Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments.
• Analyze financial trends to identify opportunities and areas of improvement.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance.
• Experience in UAE VAT and taxation processes.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)

• Experience in the fragrance, retail, or manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with local finance regulations and tax laws in the UAE.
• Experience with inventory and cost management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED5,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

• UAE Accounting: 4 years (Required)
