Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Accountant to join our team. The perfect candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles, be proficient in Xero, and have experience with various accounting software. The Accountant's main duties will involve handling financial transactions, ensuring precise financial records, and supporting our company's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Record Maintenance: Keep accurate and current financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
• Xero and Software Expertise: Efficiently use Xero and other accounting software for managing and recording financial transactions.
• Financial Reporting: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasts, analyze variances, and provide insights to management.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Audit Support: Prepare for and support both internal and external audits, ensuring the accuracy and availability of financial data.
• Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and promptly resolve any discrepancies.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and enhance accounting processes and procedures.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analyses to support business decisions and offer recommendations to management.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information and support overall business operations.
• Expense Management: Monitor and manage company expenses, ensuring they are in line with budget and financial plans.
• Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow, ensuring the company has sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven accounting experience with a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Software Proficiency: Skilled in Xero and other accounting software.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
