ACCOUNTANT
Job description
1. Entering financial data such as accruals, receivables, accounts payable, time-sheets, deferrals, classifications, and petty cash entries through cash or cheque in a timely manner, as well as preparing reports.
2. Issue invoices to the customers based on rental services. Follow up with the customer for the payments, the reconciliation of customer account. Prepares posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
3. Effectively and efficiently manage the company's petty cash operations through proper inspection and payments of bills, receipts and cash count
4. Check & Book expenses and prepare monthly account reconciliations and examine supplier invoices for accuracy and issue cheque in time for accurate allocation of payments against invoices
5. Conduct month end closing activities so that all current costs must be reflected as expenses of the current month.
6. Collecting and analyzing data about a company's day to day and operational costs
7. Establishing costs of business processes such as administration, labor, Fuel, etc.
8. Producing monthly profit and loss statements
9. Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent account-holders to request payment.
10. Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as per requests. Find customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the Collections Manager and other staff.
11. Collaborates with the Manager to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic basis. Should be able to do up to finalization
Desired profile of the candidate
# Candidate who is having minimum 5 yrs of Work experience.(UAE or Home country)
# Thorough knowledge and understanding of the accounting principles, and practices.
Ability to grasp the concepts quickly and work independently and thorough working knowledge of MS Office.
# Flexible in terms of work schedule.
# Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
