Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Accountant for our client, a trading company engaged in cross-trade, dealing with chemicals and polymer resins. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting within a trading set-up, with expertise in handling various aspects of accounting and a sound knowledge of Letter of Credits (LCs). UAE-based candidates with a B.Com or equivalent accounting qualification will be preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
Handle all aspects of accounting within a trading company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Work with various industries, including chemicals, polymers, metals, commodities, and FMCG.
Maintain and reconcile financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
Proficient in dealing with Letter of Credits (LCs).
Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders for financial matters.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas for improvement.
Job Requirements:

Experience in cross-trade, with exposure to chemicals, polymers, metals, commodities, and FMCG.
Knowledge of Letter of Credits (LCs).
