We are looking for an experienced, qualified Accountant who can join immediately. The Accountant role is suited for the individual seeking an opportunity for growth and development. To be successful in this role, the Accountant should possess the ability to conduct a wide variety of intricate and complex accounting duties and projects.

Educational/Other Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience in the construction field
• Familiarity with accounting and finance principles and procedures
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills and ability to multi-task
• Strong knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and ERP or any other accounting software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality



• Manage and prepare monthly invoice packages for all billable projects.
• Setting up new projects in job cost and the necessary spreadsheets daily.
• Investigating the project variances and submitting these variance reports to the management.
• Creating and submitting government reports and tax returns related to the construction project.
• Overseeing and handling the creation and approval of all project-related billings to customers to foster good communication and avoid issues.
• Reviewing project budgets, including fee structures, staffing, and work plans.
• Ensure a smooth cash flow by auditing, generating, and sending invoices promptly.
• Responsible for the accounting operations of the company .
• Preparation of all monthly financial reports.
• Manage company and project cash flow.
• Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable staff and functions.
• Develop written accounting procedures for the operations staff and work with the team to ensure proper implementation and compliance.
• Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
• Summarize current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
• Providing accounting and clerical support to ensure that financial transactions are in compliance and of the VAT regulations.
• Preparation, validation, and submission of monthly and quarterly VAT returns for the UAE entities.
• Handle VAT reporting (payables and receivables). Ensure collections and payments are done in line with UAE regulations.
• Prepare and manage all documents in line with VAT regulations and other related activities.
• Maintain controls by adhering to the accounting department's policies and procedures and ensure Tax practices are in compliance with UAE financial reporting statutes, standards and financial reporting best practices.
• Conduct day-to-day transactional processing and reporting on taxation. This includes the accurate posting of all tax related entries.
• Working with tax laws in UAE and update the changes to the management.
• Compile, verify, and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and accounting statements so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions. These reports may include monthly VAT liabilities, VAT returns, regulatory reports and filings.
• Coordinate projects involving internal and external audits to ensure that they have appropriate access to information and people within the organization.
• Run monthly accounting meeting with construction/project management team to review and plan upcoming projections/billings.
• Participate in the formation and implementation of company financial plans.
• Provide reporting and budgeting as required by Senior Management.
• Work with project management staff ensuring proper compliance with accounting procedures including reviewing and analyzing job cost estimates and reports monthly.
• Monitor and maintain division payroll and ensure to achieve WPS compliance.
• Arrange payments for settlements, visa/labor/license renewal, and new applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
