Job Overview Malabar Group in Oman is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data to support business operations. Job Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets in a timely manner Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making Assist with audits and tax filings Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable Monitor cash flow and prepare cash forecasts Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and analysis Qualifications/Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or equivalent qualification preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance role Working Environments Office-based environment with interaction with colleagues and external stakeholders Varied tasks and responsibilities requiring adaptability and flexibility Standard office hours with occasional overtime as needed Benefits Competitive salary Health insurance coverage Retirement savings plan Opportunities for career advancement and professional development Supportive work environment with a focus on teamwork and excellence Salary Salary will be commensurate with experience.
