Accountant - HVAC Trading and Distribution

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly skilled Accountant to join our team in the HVAC trading and distribution sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for HVAC transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Process and verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment transactions related to HVAC products and services.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory accounts, ensuring proper accounting for all HVAC equipment and materials.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in VAT filing and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage payroll, employee expenses, and other HR-related financial processes.
• Perform cost analysis and assist in budgeting and forecasting for HVAC projects and operations.
• Support audits by providing required financial documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., procurement, sales) to ensure accurate financial records and reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in accounting, and preferred experience in the HVAC or trading industry preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws (including VAT).
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of procurement and inventory accounting in a trading or distribution environment is a plus.
