• Accounting Duties : Primarily responsible for preparing financial statements including journal entries, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
• Financial System Maintenance : Ensure the company's accounting system is consistently accurate and up to date. This includes entering financial transactions into the system and preparing monthly reconciliation statements for all bank accounts.
• File Management : Maintain all accounts-related files and documents.
• Software Proficiency : Knowledge and Experience working in Zoho Books is a must.
• Cash Management : Oversee entity-level cash requirements, ensure the availability of funds, and manage the placement of excess funds in short-term investments according to entity investment guidelines.
• VAT Management : Prepare and submit VAT returns and statements to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) in a timely manner.
