We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Accountant who has experience in managing financial activities in the Food & Beverages Industry to join our team. will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, conducting reconciliation, analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The Accountant will collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, Sales & Merchandisers, and management, to achieve business objectives, and coordinate with providers, suppliers, and all company product display Branches regarding Accounts works. Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: - Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. - Analyze financial data and provide insights to management regarding financial performance, and trends. - Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations. - Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed. Accounts Payable and Receivable: - Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations. Monthly and quarterly basis. - Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and branches account reconciliations. - Maintain and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded. - Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports. Inventory Management: - Monitor inventory levels and reconcile inventory records with physical counts. - Analyze inventory turnover rates and provide recommendations for optimizing inventory management processes. Cost Analysis: - Conduct cost analysis to identify areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvement and collect offers to make purchase orders and conduct a comparison. Financial Controls: - Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. - Conduct periodic audits to assess compliance with internal controls and recommend improvements as needed. Tax Compliance: - Prepare and file tax and report including sales tax, and income tax, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. - Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations and advise management on potential impacts. Qualifications: - Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in accounting or finance roles in F&B industry. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations. - Proficiency in accounting software. - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. - Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. - Responsible, independent, well-organized, self-initiative, and detail-oriented. - Well-versed with MS Office & advanced user of Microsoft Excel. - Fluent in spoken and written English. - Immediate availability is highly preferred.
