Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Accountant to join our dynamic team within our Fitout/Interior division. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in accounting roles within the fit-out or interior design industry and will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities to ensure the company's fiscal health.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to guide business decisions
• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Generate financial reports and statements to present to management
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of various accounts
• Assist with audits, financial reviews, and tax filings
• Collaborate with project managers to track project costs and profitability
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience as an Accountant in the fit-out or interior design sector
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices relevant to construction or interior services
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.,ERP) (compulsory)
• Knowledge in Microsoft office (compulsory)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Familiarity with UAE financial regulations is preferred
• Fluency in English
