Job Description

Position Overview: The Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of By So Fashion. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle a variety of tasks related to financial management, reporting, and planning. The Accountant will ensure accurate financial records, prepare comprehensive reports, and coordinate audits.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and counsel, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.

Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.

Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.

Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.

Research technical accounting issues for compliance.

Support month-end and year-end close processes.

Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Coordinate the year-end audit with external auditors.

Perform cash planning and forecasting.

Conduct cost analysis and management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven working experience as an Accountant.

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

Experience with creating financial statements.

Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.

Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.

Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

Excellent analytical and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in the fashion industry.

Knowledge of inventory management and cost accounting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED7,000.00 per month
