Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong financial knowledge, experience in managing accounts, and excellent attention to detail. This role will involve handling daily accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and classified.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Generate financial reports for management review, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in the development of monthly budget and forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and file quarterly tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial data analysis.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes as needed.
• Assist in the coordination of external audits, providing necessary documentation and support to auditors.
• Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Ability to interpret and analyse financial statements and periodicals
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Experience

Accounting: 3-4 years in the UAE (Required)
