Rijas Development is seeking a skilled and detail-driven

Accountant

to manage the company's financial records and daily accounting activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills and a solid understanding of UAE tax and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and record day-to-day financial transactions Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) Reconcile bank statements and handle cash flow management Process payroll and ensure accurate calculation of gratuity and leave balances Maintain accounts payable and receivable ledgers Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and assist in filing returns Support audits and liaise with external auditors Create monthly and quarterly financial reports

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CA Inter/ACCA/CMA preferred) 2-4 years of accounting experience in the UAE Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP) Excellent MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) Knowledge of UAE VAT and WPS payroll systems Strong analytical and organisational skills
