About Paulson & Partners

Paulson & Partners is a leading consulting firm specialized in business development. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial operations in compliance with UAE accounting policies and our internal corporate standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations (VAT, Corporate Tax, Excise Tax, and Economic Substance Regulations). Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure timely filing of VAT returns and compliance with FTA requirements. Stay updated with UAE tax laws, IFRS standards, and any regulatory changes affecting financial reporting.
Bookkeeping & Transactions Management.

Oversee day-to-day accounting transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger entries. Process payroll, manage WPS compliance, and ensure timely salary disbursement. Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and supplier payments. Handle expense management and ensure proper documentation for audits.
Audit & Internal Controls:

Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies for financial audits and compliance checks. Implement internal financial controls to prevent discrepancies and fraud. Conduct periodic financial reviews and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
Corporate Finance & Budgeting:

Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risk management. Provide financial insights and reports to senior management for strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification is a plus. Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably in a corporate services firm. Strong knowledge of UAE tax laws, VAT regulations, IFRS, and WPS payroll system. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or Xero. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial tasks effectively.
