Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with expertise in e-commerce accounts management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, managing e-commerce platform accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing. Prepare and analyze financial statements, tax returns, and compliance reports. Handle e-commerce financial operations, including payment gateway reconciliations. Monitor and track sales, refunds, and expenses on e-commerce platforms. Coordinate with marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Shopify, etc.) for accounting accuracy. Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management. Ensure tax compliance (GST, VAT, Income Tax, etc.). Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors. Utilize accounting software (TALLY).
Requirements:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in an e-commerce environment. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation. Proficiency in e-commerce accounting, including sales reconciliation and expense tracking. Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with inventory management and cost accounting. Knowledge of international e-commerce transactions and currency exchange handling.
