Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to join our finance team. The accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and tax filings. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in financial data. Ensure timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable. Monitor and review financial transactions to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and external auditors. Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Maintain accurate and organized financial files and records. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or similar certification is a plus). Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

Experience with financial analysis and reporting. Knowledge of payroll processing and compliance. Familiarity with industry-specific financial regulations.
